The Cricut Venture is the largest, fastest and most accurate cutting machine ever released by Cricut. This machine presented many significant design challenges and I am proud to be part of the team that brought it to the market.
The Cricut Roll Holder was designed in order to enable the user to produce up to 12' cuts. As the only mechanical engineer I was responsible for initial prototyping, testing and mass production efforts required to bring this product to life.
I have learned that packaging has a significant impact on a consumer's first impression of a product. While it may not seem as exciting as designing a plastic part, I was able to learn a lot of new things by being involved in product packaging
